CrowdCreate

Fundraising for youth sports leagues and teams on your own site

Youth leagues and teams raise money for uniforms, tournament travel, field time, and scholarships — almost all of it from the families involved. CrowdCreate puts the ask on your league's own page and sends contributions straight to your own account, so more of it reaches the team.

Why league fundraising leaks

League fundraising is volunteer-run, seasonal, and parent-funded. A board member sets up a donation tool for the travel-tournament push, and a percentage platform skims every contribution — money meant for hotel rooms and uniforms. Treasurers rotate with the seasons, and the giving usually happens on a platform's page instead of the league's, so a parent who got the link from the team email finishes on an unfamiliar checkout.

Where CrowdCreate fits a league

Paste one snippet onto the league or team page you already run — the registration site, a team blog, the booster page — and families contribute without leaving it. The money goes to the league's own Stripe account, so the treasurer reconciles it like any other deposit and the next treasurer inherits the same login. At a flat $20 a month, a big tournament push isn't shrunk by a percentage. The contributor list is yours to export for thank-yous and the booster club's records.

  • Put the ask on your own league/team page — families don't get redirected.
  • Contributions land in the league's own Stripe and bank, reconciled by the treasurer.
  • Flat $20/mo — the travel-tournament push isn't skimmed by a percentage.
  • Export the contributor list for thank-yous and booster records.

Where CrowdCreate might not fit

CrowdCreate handles donations to your own account; it isn't a registration or roster system and doesn't collect per-player fees, sell merchandise, or run raffles — use a registration/store tool for those. It also doesn't issue tax-deductible receipts, so if your league or booster club is a registered nonprofit, handle receipts from your own records.

Common questions

Can we raise for a specific tournament or trip?

Yes. Put the widget on the page about that trip and share it; contributions land in your own account with no per-campaign fee, and the note field lets a family flag what they're giving toward.

Our treasurer changes every season — does that break anything?

No. The Stripe account and login belong to the league, so a season handoff is just passing credentials. The money was always in your own account, not a platform's.

Can we collect registration fees with this?

No — this is for donations and contributions, not per-player registration or merchandise. Keep your registration/store tool for fees; use CrowdCreate for the fundraising ask.
