Online donations for food banks on your own website
Add a donation widget to your food bank or pantry's own website so supporters can give without leaving your page. The money goes straight to your organization's Stripe account — we never hold it or take a cut. It's a flat $20 a month, whether you raise a little or a lot.
Why the percentage hurts a food bank most
Food banks turn donations into meals at a remarkable rate — a dollar given often stretches further than a dollar anywhere else. That's exactly why a percentage cut stings: every point a platform keeps is meals that didn't get bought. On the volume a busy pantry raises around the holidays, a percentage adds up to real food taken off the shelves. And the giving usually happens on the platform's page, not yours. A supporter who came to your site to find drop-off hours or volunteer slots gets handed to a checkout that doesn't look like you, right at the moment they decided to help.
Where CrowdCreate fits a food bank
CrowdCreate puts the donate button on the site you already run. You paste one snippet onto your page and supporters give there — a one-time gift before a holiday drive, or a recurring monthly gift that lets you plan purchasing ahead. The money lands in your own Stripe account, and at a flat $20 a month no percentage of it goes to a platform instead of to food. The donor record is yours — names, amounts, dates — in your Stripe and dashboard, exportable whenever your team needs it for acknowledgments or grant reporting.
- One-time gifts for a holiday drive and recurring monthly gifts that steady your purchasing, both on your own site.
- A flat $20/mo with no cut of what you raise — the percentage a typical tool keeps stays as food instead.
- Funds land in your organization's own Stripe account; we never hold or route the money.
- Your donor list is yours to export for acknowledgments and reporting; funder PII auto-expires after 13 months.
Where CrowdCreate might not fit
To be plain: CrowdCreate does not issue tax-deductible donation receipts. We move money from a supporter into your organization's Stripe account and give you the records. If your food bank is a registered charity and your donors expect a receipt, you issue it from those records — don't tell donors a gift through CrowdCreate is tax-deductible on our account, because we make no such determination.

Common questions
Does the money pass through CrowdCreate first?
No. Gifts go directly to your organization's own Stripe account. We never hold, route, or take a cut. We charge a flat $20 a month; Stripe charges its standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per gift), which goes to Stripe.
Can we run a holiday matching drive on it?
Yes. The widget collects the gifts during your drive, and your Stripe records show exactly what came in during the window so you can verify a sponsor's match. Arranging the match itself is between you and your sponsor.
Can supporters give monthly?
Yes — one-time and recurring gifts both come from the same widget on your own site, so steady monthly support and a holiday spike live in one place.
