Common questions
Do members have to leave our website to give?
No. The widget sits on your own church website and the gift happens right there. Members don't get handed off to a separate giving platform or asked to download an app. If you'd rather share a link than embed a widget, every account also gets a hosted giving page at crowdcreate.app/c/your-name that works anywhere.
Can members set up a pledge toward a campaign, like a building fund?
Yes. A member can give once or set up a recurring gift, which fits a pledge toward a building fund, a mission trip, or any campaign with a goal. The contributions go straight to your church's own Stripe account.
Does CrowdCreate take a percentage of the offering?
No. We charge a flat $20 a month and take no cut of what your congregation gives. Stripe charges its standard processing fee (2.9% + 30¢ per gift), which goes to Stripe, not to us.
